Great reading... but not sure of the accuracy.
I've costed solar / wind / coal / diesel / gas power stations in the 10 MW- 20MW range for remote applications many times over the last decade. I am always hoping wind / solar will be competitive... but it never is. If natural gas is available that is the cheapest in terms of both capital and operating cost. Next comes diesel, which is low capital but high operating cost.
