I'm not sure that shorting BHP is the right way to go especially right at this point in time.
If you're going to short something because you think the markets gonna tank short the indexes not individual stocks (no div payouts and generally a lot safer)...
Market is about to rally short term IMHO and I feel you may be a week or 2 early on your shorts.
I'm thinking of actually going long BHP in the UK tonight for a 4 - 5% sharp rally over the next week or so and then I will re-assess from there.
Your 1 month timeframe is a a bit ambitious!!! lol
