I couldn't work out y AIZ had gone up of late given POO has hardly done anything. QAN has been Christmas partying or at least Alan Joyce has been endlessly partying so no news flow and then I saw that the CPO has been KO'd to NAB/BNZ.
Now I have my answer: market thinks some real cost cutting is going to happen now that Lorraine can take her labor relations and consensus by expansion to NAB.
AIZ has too many pilots, too many NZ corporate staff collecting paychecks without taking any actions and needs Christopher if he is to remain (and not accept an offer from WOW) to be more like Willie Walsh and Carolyn McCall in keeping costs down. POO won't be this low forever.
