For short term traders, it is common to have lots of small losses overtaken by one big gain on a single trade. Meerkat and the likes will often call stocks down that are already in a downtrend. That's not hard to do. What would be useful is if they made their call on a low priced stock before the stock has a big run up. Or make a call on a stock that is in downtrend and predict the bullish reversal like I tried to do. That's much harder.
Having said all that, I have not traded LOM as this investment is based on its fundamentals.

When it comes down to it, there are many ways to make money on the market.
I'm not going to get bogged down in the FA vs TA argument, it's all up to the individual investor on what suits them. You are not the only member on the LOM thread. Other members might think that TA info is useful to them, that's why I posted it.
So if you don't like it, just ignore it. The purpose of this board is to share as much useful info as possible. Complaining about things you don't agree with just deters posters from posting.
This is detrimental as some withheld posts may have been useful to other members who were seeking it. It is up to the individual to take onboard info that's useful to them and discard what they don't agree with.

Yes, I noticed the share price is 23 cents. So what?
Does the shareprice affect what's under the ground?
The beauty of spec stocks like LOM is they overshoot their intrinsic value both to the downside and to the upside. It's a double edged sword and the volatility comes with the territory which a shrewd investor can take advantage of.
I'm using these prices to accumulate so I'm not complaining.

you are quite wrong there ecat - my call on LOM's decline was made on fundamentals when it the 60c mark not when it was already falling. And I did it long before that too on the previous occasion when LOM hit 60c after its consolidation.

please get your facts right before posting rubbish.
