Hi all,

I work in China and use a "Well-known" VPN for streaming Netflix. My wifi offered in my hotel is shocking and runs really slow (don't know the specifics) and streaming Netflix is frustrating. Every expat over here is complaining about the speed of their data streaming and the fact that this well known VPN is un-reliable. If not all of you are aware, China has a very strict policies on what you can see and stream on the internet, and a VPN is essential for normal western sites, apps etc.. as they are blocked.

If this is any reassurance, the Wangle app will be a very well received product in the Chinese market IMO (if it eventually gets out here). The translators I speak too tell me more and more about how hard it is to find a reliable VPN, and how the Chinese (in general) are now exploring more western sites to watch western movies etc.. and require a decent VPN. I've never seen a country so stuck to their phones for video streaming!! If we were to break into the Chinese market eventually, there'd definitely be no turning back!

I also notice a constant price fluctuation on my VPN bill from $12-19/month which begs the question, why wouldn't Wangle ask for a higher price for a monthly membership, considering its hopefully inevitable superiority? I also understand why they wouldn't, while just breaking into the market. But IMO once it proves itself, every customer would be happy to pay more.

I look forward to its release in February to give it a go in my current situation to see the improvement. I'll post the results.

P.S if any of my facts aren't that straight technically, or if anyone wants to shed light on my assumptions, go ahead.
