Interest analysis.
The Saudi's and Iran are fighting proxy wars with each other all over the Middle East (including the one in Yemen you mentioned). It wouldn't take much for them to start officially shooting at each other especially if the Saudi royals see a real threat to their own power from within. Also, Iran starting to freely sell oil again could just be too much for the Saudi's to handle. A war between the 2 resulting in 100 plus dollar oil could unfortunately be just what the doctor orders.
