For those that are in the financial planning industry? Does ASIC permit offshore advice? Two friends of mine are advisors that work for two different AFSL's and both licenses don't permit advice given to clients outside of Australia. I am unsure whether this is regulated by each individual AFSL or whether their license only extends to Australia, or whether ASIC don't permit it?
I will have to ask them to be sure.

But it seems to me, MW has scored something that will allow AFSL's to give advice to clients outside of Australia. These two comments excite me
