This acquisition has absolutely nothing to do with those companies, the announcement specifically states financial *planning* software. Xero is probably the closest, but it's not financial planning software. By offshore processing facility and the mention of scalability I'm assuming it's referencing the use of AWS and the platform is cloud based. Not a team of 1000 in Bangalore, India.
Financial planning software doesn't excite me. Let's hope this actually is a good one.
I'll save judgement for the actual announcement but I choose to remain sceptical and therefore opened to being wowed.
