Sydney - Wednesday - July 12: (RWE Aust Business News) - Neptune
Marine Services (ASX:NMS) has announced that its joint marketing partner
Allied Diving Services has secured an Oil & Gas maintenance project with
Houston-based Apache Energy.
The project involves maintenance and repair of umbilical cabling
used for the operation of hydraulic valves for a gas platform 2.5
kilometres off the coast of Western Australia.
On May 29 Neptune announced its intention to acquire Allied for
$2.125 million in cash and shares, and the transaction is expected to be
completed shortly.
Neptune's managing director Christian Lange said securing the
Apache job gave the company an early indication that the Allied
acquisition supports its growth strategy.
"Previously, neither company would have been in a position to
undertake the project in it's entirety. The Allied acquisition enables us
to broaden our service capabilities to secure larger projects," Mr Lange
said.
