The problem isn't with the wording, it's with anxious share holders. If the term "minor revision" had been used it would still be open to interpretation. Minor is relative after all, so it could be anything from a triviality to something significant, but not significant enough to stop the deal going ahead. Some might think it a stretch, but it could even mean that someone had to commit their first born in a late stage negotiation manoeuvre.
