1522 [Dow Jones] Computershare (CPU.AU) up 1.3% at A$7.87, minimal reaction to speculation of possible takeover attempt by Thomson Corp., but dealers not ruling this out after CPU formed strategic alliance with Thomson in May. Charts looks positive with dailies forming potential bull flag pattern, targeting 2006 high at A$8.38 on break of A$7.95. Monthlies also positive with June low at A$7.05 looking like a solid base for test of record high at A$9.90 over 12 months - sooner if there's a takeover. (DWR)
