Hairyback,
It is not so much Turnbull's captain picks, and I doubt he had that many captain's picks in the selection of his ministry 3 months ago. I had said this before, I don't believe Turnbull's hold on the leadership is that strong, a simple reason being the Liberal Party is currently dominated by right wing conservatives, there are not that many moderate Liberals in the federal party because most of them had been purged by John Howard. The dominant right wing faction is tolerating him at the moment so long as they think he can win the next election.
For Turnbull to now says he needs "renewal", "fresh face" in his ministry just 3 months after appointing the current one is telling me that the choice of people in the ministry he appointed 3 months ago was not entirely of his choice.
In the months ahead if Turnbull cannot get his party critics to toe his line for the sack of their Liberal government, then I believe he is on a lost cause.
Don't forget the saying "a party divided cannot govern the country".
You are part of that division, Hairyback
