I totally agree that at this stage it is a speculative company. However, on the scale of speculative buys (because of the science and advanced stage of trials) it is probably on the "safer" end of the scale - no guarantee but certainly not as dangerous as many.
My own philosophy is to have a small number of speccies in my portfolio as part of a balanced approach, with a realistic stop/loss price set. Works for me and gives me the opportunity to dabble in some new promising companies. Just my thoughts as the New Year starts.
I am only very new to MSB and it took a lot of convincing before I bought in. Hopefully holders will see the start of the promising growth with Mesoblast this year.
