Why didn't L259 show up on the aeromagnetic survey?
Well, there's a number of possible reasons, but the one which I believe to be closest to the pin comes from a comment made by N Ralph Newson, a geologist from Newson Management & Consultants Ltd, back in 1998, and on behalf of Primo Resources Ltd of Canada.
The project is referred to as Peace River which is located in Alberta, Canada. Like Lulo, they previously completed an aeromagnetic survey, and the 1998 report was on the follow-up ground magnetic survey. The following is an extract from that report:
