I think that many bought in at the 20c level and a lot held through the down draft to 20c. I think many have slowly sold into all the ups and downs. The move up from 20 to 30 and the up and down from 34c to 37c seemed to have unlocked a lot of volume over the longer timeframe.
Certainly the move from 35 to 47c has seen more volume but over a shorter period.
I think that the fundamentals will settle whether it is a winner over time. My next decision is after the results are announced. If the half year can do a lot better than last year than I think it will keep moving up.
Personally given the info we have i think its fully priced around 55c to 60c.
Stock picking competitions are like economists - A lot of it has to be luck. I am an investor in PGC and its gone from 23c in June 2014 to 68c now thats a great run but it wont have won you any competitions - How you get the timings right to coincide the end of each competition must have a large element of luck. PGC was 47c before June 2014 but it dropped on a overhang and then surged in September after an acquisition. I can name a few more. By the time the tipster has won most of the opportunity has gone in my opinion.
So if you are asking about buying in here is my take - I would rather pay more after the interim if I can see the pathway than buy in now unless it got back to under 40c. DYOR.
