This is quite a good result imho, it will encourage further exploration in the basin imo, but would be unlikely to form a standalone development or even to bring forward Phoenix.

It's over 200 km to Port Headland, and nearly that to landfall, a long pipeline for a raw gas and a high well shut in pressure and possibly high temperatures etc likely to require condensate extraction near Roc, eg a Phoenix FPSO, but the pipeline to shore and gas processing there adds a fair bit of capex.

Imho this will be a stranded asset until further compatible discoveries.

Several positive points though, gas recovery should be pretty high from such depth/pressure and from that pressure and density there will be a fair bit of gas (and with it condensate).

Encouraging.
