Having been a long term holder of ATM (a2m) I find the short-term focus on the Infant Formula side of the business really interesting. Most NZ holders have had confidence in the milk side of the business for many years, and see the IF side of the business as exciting, but simply one part of the overall operation. The history of this company is to under-report and then over-deliver. Often the SP spikes after the announcement and then drifts back, before a period of consolidation...then a new announcement and then a further spike. I have no knowledge of day trading activities or strategies, but I am confident that ATM/a2m will look after those investors who are in the for long ride. For what it is worth, it looks to me like we are in the consolidation phase before the next spike...good luck to the holders.
