@Japon - this 2 sided market is not different. They always work the same way. There are nuances but fundamentally they are always the same. There is only one way for RNT to make it work without going broke - and they need agents for this.
You should research how Uber came into Australia (and other markets). Uber used the taxi drivers first. By the time the taxi drivers worked out what was happening it was too late. The fact Uber ignores legislation is what enabled them to do it.
