It's interesting you raised this. On ABC Local Radio now, they are talking about the Syrian refugees being placed in Biloela to work in the meat works. Apparently there are no locals to fill the jobs. Our immigration policy is part humanitarian and part to facilitate labour shortages. It is exactly the same with other western countries, and makes perfect sense with ageing populations. The economy would be stuffed without future-proofing the tax revenue base.

I dont think anyone is against immigration nini8365 but you dont have to import incompatibles,there are other better options out there.Lots better in fact.
