Hi Zac as you say the situation is fluid and no pun intended, FAR need to get through the six well program should it go to that and then it's decision time. If the program is back to back then it would finish sometime later in the year and a huge amount can change in that time including the oil price.
Anyone making a call on what FAR may or may not do in the next 12 months or 12 years for that matter is premature IMO...assuming 3 contingent wells, there are at least 2 relatively low risk exploration wells in that timeframe, likely an appraisal well in FAN , an upgrade in resources at SNE plus possible declaration of commerciality we can add to that results of 3D and our DJ block...all of those could be better or worse than expected...
What makes me comfortable is by far the most important well in this program IMO , SNE 2 , has met and likely exceeded expectations , without that FAR has nothing that can be considered commercial...ongoing exploration without SNE is simply not an option for FAR..we have our Elephant now we go check to see if its trunk and tail are in working order also find if it's pregnant...
