Thought you may also be thinking of Price / Vol bars as well so here is the chart again with the Mkt Profile on the left and the Price / Vol bars on the right.
Similar correlation when you overlay them as you can see where vol spikes at what price went through against the profiling which I only use as one guide for support / resist zones.

That platform is "freemium" EOD only for ASX which I'm ok with as I like the tools this one has for EOD. Is live with Forex though for free and maybe some other exchanges - haven't checked others fully as only really play ASX. Google - Technician Chart App...is cross platform web based use anywhere a browser is really
