Many of you are speculating why the trial has changed and have noted ridiculous reasons such as TEVA wanting not to pay for 1200 patient and other ridiculous points.
These are the facts which I have confirmed:
1. Overall there has not been a reduction in the amount of patients.
2. The trial has been split into 2 indentical trials to be run in parallel. The reason for this is 2 fold. a) the results are good and as a result in change to end point no need for 1200 patient results to register for commercialisation, 600 is enough.
3. Running an identical parallel trial is not uncommon.
4. Finally interim results as promised are still due, regardless of the changes noted above.
This is an excellent result for MSB.
Stop talking crap and embrace the fact that they are very close, and if phase 2 results are anything to go by we are looking good.
