Certainly BHP is and has always been a Blue Chip Stock.

However given recent events with what's happened in Brazil (negative sentiment) and the downturn and uncertainty facing china which is possibly going to end in a recession and I believe an extended time of pain for commodities (at least 18mths+)

Would not surprise me to see BHP in single digits later this year. Of course there will come a time when commodities and china recover but seems we are far from a bottom.

Good Luck all holders on can never tell where the floor is.Suspect dividend will be more like 2% and cut aggressively.

These are just my thoughts and not a recommendation to buy/sell.

Have been investing for 20 yrs.
