Currently in Canberra.
Visiting daughter and family.
Husband at work ( TAX OFFICE,....shudder)
Wife daughter and grandkids are out riding horses.
Not for me
One end kicks, the other end bites.
Come to think of it, horse are probably a bit like CFDs.
Trading fairly regularly.
Simple technique, but not available every day as the setup is not there.
If o/s markets move significantly overnight and our xjo CFD does the same and it looks overdone in the morning,
IE the gap beween the xjo closing price from the day before and the CFD is large,
I consider if it's realistic.
Often it's not.
So I fade it.
Just before and / or after 10 am.
Or even earlier if the gap is extreme....I'm prepared to pay the 3 or 4 point margin to get set.
Sometimes I add to my initial position.
Of course it doesn't work every time,........but often enough.
Usually out before 11 to 11.30 am when it's time for coffee with the mates.
