re: greenspan speech gold up watso, I think the reason may be that Americans see the falling dollar as a stimulus to the purchase of US goods and services. Just as our low dollar has helped our balance of trade situation. This does not seem unreasonable in the first instance. Later of course, if the $US continues to decline this situation can be expected to change....
