Suspect they may speak to landlords first - see if they can agree a deal without the Receivers. If this works landlord will tell Receiver they aren't interested in providing a new lease (with appointment voiding existing lease and end of VA period allowing the landlord to force DSH out of the premises).
Saw Jaycar advertising directly to affected landlords in AFR the other day giving credence to this theory. Might be in the dataroom to get landlord details / look at performance of the store sites they want.
