You are quite right that a deal may have been expected "in this quarter" but we are actually a mere 19 days into the quarter and the SP has been floating ever higher from Dec 31 on the strength of exactly what? Don't know the date of the OZ article but note the spike to $1.37 on January 6. There have been strong buys and zip news (except whispered in hushed corridors I reckon).
