18 July 2006 AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGE AND MEDIA RELEASE INDEE GOLD MINE UPDATE The company is pleased to provide a further update on progress on the development of the Indee Gold Mine. • There are now approx 50,000 tonnes of ore on the ROM pad. • Crushing and agglomeration has commenced with 10,000 tonnes of ore now on the Leach pad. • Grade control drilling of Withnell North and West pits plus Camel 1 and Camel 2 pits also complete • An initial gold pour will occur around the end of this month. Ore Stacking The following images show the cement silo and agglomerator, and the overland conveyor system which takes the ore onto the heap leach pads. The following image shows 10,000 tonnes of ore now stacked on the heap leach pad. The irrigation system will be installed later this week enabling irrigation to commence. 2 Ponds Commissioning The pregnant and barren ponds have now been completed and lined, and pump commissioning is underway. The following image shows the lined barren pond. Plant construction The elution plant and gold room have been installed and commissioning is being carried out over the next several weeks. Drilling Grade control drilling at Withnell North, Withnell West, Camel 1 and Camel 2 has been completed. The attached table provides a summary of some of the more significant results in and around Withnell North open pit received to date.
