I am starting to feel a lot of empathy for Muslim women because they certainly get the raw end of the deal when it comes to Islamic law.
Muslim men need to grow out of their fears and let their women grow and breath the fresh air of freedom. If they cannot trust their wives or male friends to respect their wives freedom of expression in dress, education and speech, maybe they shouldn't be married.
I have no idea what goes through the minds of Muslim men but they seem to be suspicious of other men when it comes to their wives. Do they have a guilty conscious?
Muslim men always seem to want to know and ask, ' what do you believe in' as if they have a greater insight into the workings of the universe. Non Muslims are infidels, a condescending attitude in my books.
We have Muslims marching and chanting and demonstrating occasionally because they say someone said something bad against their prophet. Most normal Australians do not give a damn about prophets and go about their busy lives trying to make a living and raise a family.
We do not need Muslims shoving their religious beliefs in our face.
Be a Muslim, obey Australian laws and let Australians enjoy their freedom of expression without being subject to abuse from Muslims because we dress different or have different religions.
Many athiests have a higher moral standing than many religious people.
Respect Australian women. Yes they wear bikini's at the beach, it does not mean they are wanting to be raped by Muslim men or any man.
Muslim men need to show some self constraint, learn, remember and abide by Australian law.
The Grand Mufti says Australian women invite rape because of their dress; he needs to show self control too and respect peoples freedom.
