The discussion here got me researching this again. Researched it months ago and admittedly dismissed as another trade that I never traded - happy to go on record. Have not traded and don't intend too at this time.

Have you read some of the articles that were written more than 10 years ago from members of the Rice team? The one where 'imperfections' were discussed and use of software to help bypass physical imperfections. They used a hard drive as an example and how software detects a bad sector before writing data to it.

Then read the other research on quantum dots. The use of qubits specifically.

I dunno Marty - I'm no geek with no form of science degree. But what if the entire model is built on building imperfect chips that use qubits and some sort of software that mitigates the problems of the imperfections in the chips?

Does this make any sense to you? Too hard for a simpleton like me to understand all the tech jargon and concepts here.
