I have heard a rumour thee Chinese have set up a GPZ manufacturing facility in the Northern Sudan, this is to get around the Dubai problem last time they got caught with a couple of thousand GPX detectors.
I do not condone the knock off detectors, but it sure must damage the sales, and do not forget Ougood and others are still shipping knock off gpx detectors and commander coils into Africa. Some of the coils from china have hit the market in the US and Australia via people of low moral integrity.
