News for Today (AEDST)




The XJO closed lower on Wednesday.
Initially price attempted to rally & maintain the momentum from Monday's bar, and the tentative (poorly supported) rise on Tuesday.
But all the Index could manage was a rise up to bang its head on the underside of the first zone of potential resistance above, and then price fell away, pretty much without a whimper.
Spread increased, as did volume (which was substantially higher), and the close was poor.
So there was no doubt the seller's regained the upper hand on Wednesday, with what appears to be active selling pushing price down with ease.
Obviously, Wednesday's overall bar showed an inability to maintain a rally, but it also shows a close right down near the lows of Tuesday bar, and below the close of Monday' bar, both of which adds further potential negativity to Wednesdays bar.
Only a complete reversal bar would change the sentiment on the chart now, and that seems quite a low probability to occur......
The next lower possible support zone that 'may' show some reasonable strength lies between 4758.3 and 4787.5.  
And following that is a single line @4632.3
