I concur with those thoughts.
I also think he is a good chap, and brings lots of experience. But the SRX days were when he was 'a lad' - he is retired now. So what brings him back - who knows.
Maybe he has some unfinished business - a nice thought to hang ones hat on. Maybe he was made an offer that he thought was acceptable. Maybe money, maybe ego - could be a hundred different reasons and we will never know. But I think many are reading far too much into a board appointment. Sam goes fro Rowland - is he a heavy hitter, yes probably. But what has he to do for the next 3 years whilst they do clinical trials to support a PMA?
