Given the nickel concentrate consumption was 1.8Mt the previous year (and likely around the same last year or as suggested by the market it will actually be higher), that 44Kt is very little but anything to help MBN is a good thing (i.e. local nickel sales would mean reduction in transportation cost) and since the mine are nickel laterite, it could explain why the REAL devalue isn't helping them as much MBN as it's still more expensive to mine nickel laterite so their production will cost them more in REAL anyway compared to sulphide nickel mines.
