Here's a little quote from the aricle and David Larocca (infrastructure dude at Ernst and Young),

Mr Larocca said renewable energy had become a key part of the infrastructure sector in Australia, where inbound investment interest is at record levels. About 18-20 of the world's largest infrastructure funds are already in Australia, representing about $140 billion of equity.

"The problem with these investors looking at Australia at the moment is there isn't a pipeline sufficient enough to satisfy their demand for investment and that's why you'll see them participating in these greenfield-type opportunities as well as brownfield opportunities."
