Not sure about that chibrown. Last year the chairman sold a couple of million shares about three weeks before the share price tanked. That's why the market reacted so quickly today.
I don't think there are any gremlins lurking like last year though so I only sold half my shares instead of selling all of them last year.
My feeling is that when directors sell like this it is a decent indication that there isn't going to be any market moving company information in the next 3-6 months.
Regis probably won't move as much as others on gold price strength either. I hold due to quality of management mainly.
