The Federal Government was so keen to put out the mid-year economic review, that it could not wait for the results of the medical enquiry. This shows desperation at its highest. The imaging and pathology companies merely process referrals. The doctors, surgeons and specialists are the people that the Government should be targeting if they believe that there are unnecessary tests. Every week I read about the benefits of MRI particularly to identify cancer. I mean where are the priorities!!
