re: in play Not such a long shot since Perrenial and some of hte other fundies are voicing their rejection of hte 4.50 offer. The main bidder is of course the Market. Take a look at Baycorp and you will see that a sure thing is not so sure even with 19.9% in hand. The question is whether it will be seen as an arbitrage play and whether or not the volume of trading will support pulling a new bid out of Affinity. My bets are it should but who knows?
