I 'm back from a stint in Mozambique. Interesting that nothing has really changed for Cokal. Just a bloody disaster but so is the entire coal industry.
For anybody that has a positive view of coking coal, this is the classic gift horse. All approved ready to construct! I think we will get a bid above 12-13 cents from some optimistic group. Indos bought Mt Pleasant from Rio so they have a positive view. Mt Pleasant is only semi soft coking from memory. We should encourage them to shop local and buy Cokal.
Don't count on BHP. Legally they were forbidden to buy more coal leases in Indo a long time ago. They are only developing mines in the area as it is use it or lose it. They have 14 months to develop Maruwai CCoW or lose it.
