I wonder what would be the reason. SEQ has its hand in many pies. Bourse Data, FNN,D2MX, Funds management and many small % holdings in few firms tooetc. If it was to be a CR for an acquisition I reckon FNN could be a Candidate as SEQ owns around 14% or so from memory and ASX bid for FNN a while ago too for around $2 Mil or so. I heard a broker owns a decent amount in FNN as well so this could be the reason for the trading halt. If my guess is right then SEQ may get a controlling hold on FNN at a cheap price I reckon in this volatile market. FNN is not a bad one to have for any. Lets see how this pans out.
