Not sure what the issue is re understanding. The announcement said "Carnarvon will pay its 35% share of the cost to drill the Outtrim East-1 well which is estimated to be approximately A$10 million (net)." If it's $10m net then that's the cost for CVN. No hypothetical wordsmiths required IMO.
