I'll appreciate fellow good folk posters help answer the following question please. Being a learner, I'm unsure of my own guesses .... Here's the question -
Why did the major banks ANZ CBA WBC rose by +1% in the after-market auction 10-minute session, but not, say, over the 10-minute period before 4pm ? I mean why it has to occur at auction ? What's in it for the traders ?
And during Friday, I observed the following -
These 3 banks' prices spiked about the time of the BOJ -ve interest announcement but could not hold on to the gain. Before the spike, their SPs were ranging from slightly -ve to a little bit +ve. From memory, the ASX March future index was trading worse than CN HK and Japan.
