also some devices for example measuring weight, or speed camera, spot measurement itself (i.e. the absolute figure) might not be accurate, that's why police apply 10% variance to speed camera, or you weight look different from one machine to another ... people rely on TREND from these type of machine or Standard Deviation
when it comes to POC, no matter at home or hospital, there is no point to have the device but only 70, or 80% correct. that's why Philips delayed, delayed and delayed release date ... that's why M&G exists and will shine even more than ever.
