Amazing that a 110ha kimberlite didn't show up on the aeromags. This suggests to me that it is an older kimberlite that contributed to the Calonda Formation and is highly diamondiferous. Short term good news is that a lot of the outer edges of L259 sit on higher grounds which means they should be able to drill and take bulk samples even though it is still wet season. Would be interesting to find out if the new multipurpose drill has wide-core capability. Wide-core drill sampling would be useful on such a large kimberlite and should complement the upcoming EM survey results well. Some may think that this is the same old "more info required" that you get from LOM. However, mining exploration is iterative in nature. You tend to go from a broad focus to a narrowing of the target and get more precise with increased data. We can see this occurring now as we approach the pointy end of things. A little patience is still required.
