I don't want to pontificate, but capital management is an essential part of CFD trading. I never risk more that 2% of my capital on any one trade.

Well placed stops are a must ... I lock in stops to break even and then trail them to lock in profits as the trade moves in the right direction.

Losing trades are exited quickly.

I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea, I have done okay with CFDs.

When the market stabilises and trends up once again I will be looking for buy & hold "value" shares to accumulate.

Until then, I am content to remain 70% cashed up with the balance used to make quick 'hit and run' profits via CFDs.
