If a Chinese customer want to buy a NZ or AU brand product, the first person they would ask is their contacts based in NZ and AU. There are far more Chinese contacts in AU than NZ. If they only know one AU contact, and that AU contact tell them they have never heard of that brand. Then that is the end of the story. To develop China market, the first market they need to develop is AU market, let the Chinese contacts in AU get familiar with their brands and they would start to refer to their friends. Getting their products available to purchase in those Chinese centralised area, like Burwood, Hurstville, Chatswood, Parramatta in Sydney and Box Hill in Melbourne may be far more effective than the flagship store in Tmall that the company is alone to promote their products by herself. Let the contacts of grey channel in AU become their sharesholders, they would more motivated to promote VIT products.

VIT brands have been direct selling in the Chinese market for the last 15yrs. Many products you would not find in the local Coles or chemist due to them being specifically targeted at Chinese consumers.
