Dear one and all,
Not getting any replies to this question in the Education section of the forum thus I am asking it here: A bit new to share trading and need some guidance on two aspects I do not understand please.
Firstly, and very simply, I have noticed some people posting information about the volume waiting to sell and the volume waiting to buy, and the price they are waiting at, for a company’s share. Where can I find this information?
Secondly, I am under the impression that when a company buys a shell, the shell’s share price must be at 0.20 by ASX rules. If it isn’t, consolidation happens. As I understand consolidation, it simply means that one’s share amount is decreased but their value increases. A lot of people have been saying that consolidation can mean a loss of value, but I fail to see how this occurs. Any explanation would be most helpful.
Thank you.
