Agree entirely.
Without being too idealistic or inflexible, there are several priorities for these professionals to adhere to:
1. Client/patient relationship and privileges
2. Professionalism and reputation
3. Personal satisfaction
4. Remuneration
If an overarching organisation can generate revenues from these individual relationships, then it cannot realistically come ahead of - or compromise - these individual relationships.
