While I'm no expert on building a bridge, nor am I an engineer I do have an understanding of the fundamentals of building a bridge. Now the most difficult and time consuming is the foundations, especially over a body of water. The reason for this is that the foundations are "Load Bearing". Ya follow so far?......Good. Now for these foundations to be satisfactorily load bearing takes "Time" (usually 6 months or more) as the concrete has to set. The rest, while not a formality is a hell of a lot easier.......Godd enough for ya?
