The company has been very emphatic that there will be revenues from BTM during 2016. My take on that is that 'revenues in 2016' implies a deal by the end of Q2, because there is a lot of hard slog between a deal and revenue from sales.
Whoever is chosen as a distributor will have to negotiate deals with the hospitals' Group Purchasing Organizations. There are eight large GPOs in the US representing in total almost 12,000 hospitals and more than 200,000 other healthcare customers. This will take time. Surgeons will need to be trained. That will also take time.
So, I fall onto the side of a deal sooner rather than later, but I would be caution about speculating that a deal is imminent. A deal could be announced Monday, that's true, but it is also true that months could pass before that happens. We would be well advised not to expect too much too soon. It is coming, but at its own pace.
